Sibling rivalry is real! Kate Hudson is all about the holiday vibes after picking out and decking out her gorgeous Christmas tree.

When she shared her festive creation with her 18 million Instagram followers, her brother Oliver Hudson couldn't help but chime in.

Kate shared some pics of her decorating the tree and then kicking back on the couch to enjoy her handiwork.

She captioned the post: "Started as a family tradition, ended as a solo mission… with wine."

Her mom, Goldie Hawn, jumped in with a big laugh, "Hahahahaha!" along with some perfect emojis, but Oliver had a different vibe going on.

The actor from The Cleaning Lady playfully fired back at his sister for leaving him out of the tree-decorating party, saying: "I wasn’t involved with this in any way so I’m not sure what new family you’ve got going on," before he added: "I’m telling Mom."

Kate's fans thought his reply was super funny, but she had an awesome comeback ready for her brother's cheeky message.

"@theoliverhudson who is this?" the Music star joked.

Kate and Oliver share a tight connection and often poke fun at each other on social media and during their podcast, Sibling Revelry.

They had a well-known rift with their dad, Bill Hudson, for quite a while.

"He was around for a little bit, then he bailed," Oliver explained. "We have a good relationship now, but it took a long, long, long, long time, but we're there."

Oliver shared some thoughts about his "amazing mom," admitting that she was sometimes away because of her job. Still, he made it clear that " without her, I'd be nothing," and he really appreciated the upbringing she provided for him and his siblings.

Goldie and Kurt Russell have been together since 1983, and Oliver recalls the moment that changed everything for them.

"Kurt came into my life when I was six, five or six and essentially he raised me," Oliver said on his podcast. "I'm the man I am today because of him, right?" Oliver said. "There was a moment when he asked us, myself and Kate, if we wanted to be adopted, and we said no.

"We were six and 12 or however, I don't remember the age, but we just said, 'Well, we don't need it. The love is right there.'

"The love was there with Kurt, there's no doubt that he is my dad. I call him Pa.

Goldie is also a mom to Wyatt Russell who she shares with Kurt.

Kurt's son Boston Russell was born from his previous relationship.
