Selena Gomez is now officially engaged to her musician boyfriend, Benny Blanco!
The former Disney star shared the exciting news on Instagram Wednesday night, flaunting the gorgeous and huge diamond ring that Benny used to propose.
"Forever begins now.." Selena wrote in her post, which included a bunch of adorable photos of the happy couple.
"Hey wait…that's my wife," Benny jumped in with a comment right away, and it sent fans into a total uproar.
It felt like everyone in Hollywood flooded the comments to celebrate the joyful couple.
Julia Michaels expressed her excitement with, "So happy for you both," Meanwhile, Cardi B chimed in with, "Waiiiittt hold" adding some shocked and heart emojis for emphasis.
Selena's family at Rare Beauty was totally thrilled about her announcement, and they shared their excitement on social media, "CONGRATULATIONS…so happy for you two!!" while the Disney Wizard Series account commented, "Congratulations! Wishing you a lifetime of magic together."
Benny and Selena have been the ultimate couple goals since they kicked off their relationship in 2023. They made their romance official in December, which was over four years after they teamed up with J Balvin and Tainy for a song.
When Selena showed up on Stephen Colbert's show on December 3, she looked completely unaware of the music producer's plans to propose.
The host wanted to know what Benny's "intentions" were with the Golden Globe nominee, and Selena responded, "I'm not sure, but I'm having a great time."
The couple celebrated Thanksgiving together, with her now-fiancé whipping up a feast for more than 50 guests while Selena cheered him on from the sidelines.
The Only Murders in the Building star shared with Vanity Fair in September that they don’t feel any rush to get married in their relationship.
"We always make sure we're protecting what we have, but there's no rules," she said. "I want him to always be himself. I always want to be myself."
"I've never been loved this way," she gushed. "He's just been a light. A complete light in my life. He's my best friend. I love telling him everything."
Selena did put her foot down on one aspect, "I'm not changing my name no matter what. I am Selena Gomez. That's it,"
The 32-year-old sadly shared that she won't be able to have kids in the future, "I haven't ever said this," she told Vanity Fair. "But I unfortunately can't carry my own children. I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby's in jeopardy. That was something I had to grieve for a while."
Selena and Benny might still end up hearing the sound of tiny feet running around their house. "I find it a blessing that there are wonderful people willing to do surrogacy or adoption, which are both huge possibilities for me," she said.
"It made me really thankful for the other outlets for people who are dying to be moms. I'm one of those people. I'm excited for what that journey will look like, but it'll look a little different. At the end of the day, I don't care. It'll be mine. It'll be my baby."
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's engagement marks a beautiful milestone in their relationship, one that fans are wholeheartedly celebrating. Their journey from close friends and collaborators to a couple has been full of love, laughter, and support. The couple’s shared joy and mutual respect for each other are truly inspiring, with Selena expressing how deeply she values Benny's presence in her life.
Their openness about their future, including exploring surrogacy and adoption, showcases their commitment to building a family on their own terms. This new chapter in their lives promises to be full of love, magic, and exciting adventures ahead.
