Meghan Markle has revealed that her forthcoming Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, has been delayed as a result of the devastating wildfires currently affecting Los Angeles.
Earlier this year, the Duchess of Sussex had shared that her new lifestyle-focused program would highlight the charm of her home state, featuring various special guests.
"I'm thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California," an official statement from Meghan read, per Netflix.
The premiere of the show is now scheduled for March 4, which is almost two months later than the initially intended release date of January 15.
Filming for the series took place at the residence of Meghan and Prince Harry in Montecito, California, and the eight episodes will be made available in March.
Netflix has already disclosed some of the guests, including Roy Choi, Mindy Kaling, and Alice Waters, while hinting at the inclusion of "additional acclaimed chefs and special friends."
Produced by the Duchess herself, per Netflix: "With Love, Meghan blends practical how-to's and candid conversation with friends, new and old."

As of January 12, the wildfires in Meghan's hometown of Los Angeles have resulted in the deaths of 16 individuals and have compelled hundreds of thousands of residents to evacuate. Over 12,000 structures, encompassing both residential and commercial properties, have been either damaged or completely destroyed.
Numerous Hollywood celebrities, including Paris Hilton, Leighton Meester, Adam Brody, Billy Crystal, Mandy Moore, and Martin Short, have recounted their experiences of losing their residences. Additionally, other prominent individuals in the community have contributed significant resources and offered their homes to assist those affected.
Reports indicate that Meghan and Harry are also extending hospitality to friends at their residence in Montecito, The Sussexes issued a statement regarding the catastrophic wildfires and provided various resources to facilitate aid.
"In the last few days, wildfires in Southern California have raged through neighborhoods and devastated families, homes, schools, medical care centers, and so much more – affecting tens of thousands from all walks of life," it read. "A state of emergency has been issued."
They encouraged residents nearby to "open your home," adding: "If a friend, loved one, or pet has to evacuate and you are able to offer them a safe haven in your home, please do. And be sure to check in with any disabled or elderly neighbors to see if they need help evacuating."
The couple contributed clothing, children's products, and various essential supplies to individuals impacted by the fires. Furthermore, it is reported that the Duke and Duchess are collaborating with their team at the Archewell Foundation to explore avenues for supporting the communities most affected, which includes initiatives for volunteering and mental health recovery.
