Paris Hilton Raises $1 Million for LA Fire Relief.
Paris Hilton has successfully raised close to $1 million to aid fire relief initiatives in Los Angeles following the loss of her home in Malibu.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Paris and her non-profit organization, 11:11 Media Impact, have garnered $800,000 within just 72 hours of establishing an emergency fund aimed at assisting families affected by the disaster. The fundraising efforts are still in progress.
In addition to the funds raised, Paris has personally contributed to the cause, donating $100,000 to GoFundMe’s Wildfire Relief Fund, which is offering support to 150 families displaced by the Eaton fire in Altadena.
“As a mom, I can’t imagine the pain and fear of not having a safe place for your babies,” she wrote via Instagram. “I’m starting with a personal contribution of $100,000, and will be matching additional dollars raised up to $100,000 more. I am looking for others to donate and match alongside me to do our part!”
Paris has been actively volunteering in person at organizations such as Baby2Baby and the Pasadena Humane Society. She has been documenting her initiatives to help reunite pet owners with their lost animals on social media. Additionally, Paris has disclosed that she is currently fostering a dog named Zuzu, who was surrendered to the shelter amid the recent fires.
She is among numerous celebrities who have suffered the loss of their homes due to the fire, which has resulted in the destruction of over 10,000 structures to date.
“I’m standing here in what used to be our home, and the heartbreak is truly indescribable,” Paris wrote on Instagram alongside footage of her home, now only debris and ashes. “When I first saw the news, I was in complete shock—I couldn’t process it. But now, standing here and seeing it with my own eyes, it feels like my heart has shattered into a million pieces.”
“This house wasn’t just a place to live— It was where we dreamed, laughed, and created the most beautiful memories as a family,” the Simple Life star went on.
Paris possesses several properties, among which is a 14,000 square foot home located in Beverly Park, co-owned with her husband, Carter Reum. The entrepreneur and venture capitalist is estimated to have a net worth of $40 million, whereas Paris boasts a significantly larger personal fortune of $300 million. Since their marriage in 2021, the influential couple has welcomed two children.
Paris Hilton's efforts to raise nearly $1 million for LA fire relief have been nothing short of inspiring. Despite the personal loss of her Malibu home, she has shown remarkable generosity and compassion, contributing $100,000 of her own funds and encouraging others to do the same.
