Spencer Pratt & Heidi Montag Seek Financial Help After Home Loss.

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag appealed to their fans online for assistance in generating income following the destruction of their home in the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles, which are persistently affecting the state of California.

Taking to TikTok, Spencer spoke directly to fans, “If possible, can you go to the post before this and watch and like that video? Because I’ll get up to $1,100 from TikTok if it’s one of the top 10 most liked TikToks with that song, so, more likely $200, but it can go up to $1,100.”

Spencer was discussing a video he had recently uploaded, urging his fans to engage with the content to enhance its visibility, which subsequently contributes to social media earnings for the former star of The Hills.

“So, if you’re bored, please go like that video. It’s a great song, actually, and Aly & AJ wear Pratt Daddy Crystals,” he continued. “My friend Amber goes to all their shows and gives them all crystals, so it’s kind of an authentic promo since they wear my crystals. I also want to get that $1,100.”

In a separate post, Spencer encouraged fans to listen to his wife's 2010 album to boost its revenue on music streaming platforms.

Earlier this month, Spencer and Heidi disclosed that their residence had been destroyed by fire shortly after they evacuated the area with their two sons. They shared the aftermath on social media, with Spencer revealing that they witnessed the house engulfed in flames through security cameras.

The couple has faced criticism for publicizing their loss, with some accusing them of attempting to profit from the tragedy. They are not the first celebrities to seek financial help through social media. Mandy Moore previously removed a post soliciting donations for her brother-in-law’s family, who lost their home in the wildfire. In response to the backlash, Spencer publicly defended Mandy.

Spencer and Heidi rose to fame on The Hills, a reality series they joined in 2006, which chronicled their tumultuous relationship, including their wedding in 2008. The couple has been candid about their financial struggles in the past, admitting to depleting their early earnings more rapidly than expected. As of 2025, their combined net worth was reported to be $2 million.
