The previous Manhattan residence of M. Night Shyamalan has recently appeared on the market with an asking price of $14.45 million. The renowned director purchased the Tribeca duplex in 2003 for $6.3 million and subsequently sold it in 2012 for $9.5 million, realizing a significant profit. The current owner, operating under an LLC, acquired the two-story condominium in 2021 for $12.75 million and has now reintroduced the historic 7,185-square-foot property for sale.
This boutique six-unit building, originally built in 1888, preserves several architectural elements from Shyamalan’s ownership, such as the floating limestone staircase, custom-sculpted bronze railing, and a wood-burning fireplace. The penthouse, which includes four bedrooms and five bathrooms, boasts three distinct living rooms, impressive 13-foot ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline.
