Earlier this year, Jackie Collins' longtime Beverly Hills estate was listed for a staggering $66 million. At the same time, a nearby property that the British romance writer also owned and famously rented to Al Pacino was up for grabs for a much more reasonable $16 million, courtesy of Bobby Syed from Coldwell Banker Realty.

Both properties are now owned by real estate investor Ben Nehmadi and his wife Bita, who bought Collins’ main residence and the house next door that Pacino lived in about a year after Collins passed away in 2015, for $21 million and $9 million, respectively. The Triple Crown of Acting winner lived in the latter for nearly 20 years, from 2006 until late 2024, and referred to the Hollywood Wives author as “the best landlord anyone could ask for.”

There’s also an office with a fireplace and built-in shelves, plus an upstairs primary suite that includes a walk-in closet and a rather vintage bathroom with a glass and brass shower. Outside, the lush private grounds offer a terrace for outdoor lounging and dining, complete with a built-in barbecue and fireplace, a pool and spa, and a full-size tennis court, along with a porte-cochère leading to a detached two-car garage.

As for Pacino, who starred in the Johnny Depp-directed film Modì, Three Days on the Wing of Madness last year, he’s definitely not without a home. The 84-year-old New Yorker still calls a waterfront estate in the Palisades area of New York his primary residence, a property he’s owned since the 1970s.
