Khloé Kardashian Criticized for Selling Son’s Clothes Despite Wealth.
The Kardashian-Jenner clan might be sitting on a fortune, but that doesn't stop them from cashing in on their old clothes. Khloe Kardashian recently faced some backlash for attempting to sell her kids' gently used outfits.
Just last month, Khloe shared a post on Instagram showing her 2-year-old son Tatum rocking a hoodie. In the caption, she let her followers know they could snag Tatum's style, which turned out to be a promo for Kardashian Kloset, the resale site where the family offers their previously worn designer gear and accessories.
“Shop tatum’s looks now on kardashiankloset,” the mother-of-two said in the caption alongside a link to the site.
The post didn’t sit right with a lot of people. Many comments mocked Khloe for being out of touch, especially considering the recent fires in L.A. that affected so many families.
“The amounts they are charging for these kids clothes are like pennies to them, too. just f–king donate them. so gross,” one person commented.

“There are children in the foster system with just a trash bag full of their things to take from house to house. Meanwhile she’s selling her child’s f–king clothes,” another person wrote.
Speaking to In Touch Weekly, a source claims Khloe isn’t affected by the backlash.
“Khloe is very aware that her time in the spotlight may not last forever, so she does feel an urgency to stockpile as much money as she can while she has this amazing opportunity,” they said. “She finds it funny that people assume she would be wasteful simply because she’s wealthy. That is not her style, her mom has taught her well when it comes to being savvy with money.”
“Fans are willing to pay for it and she loves buying clothes for her kids,” they continued. “If she can keep their shopping fund stocked by reselling their gently used items, she will and she has no shame in her game about it.”
The Kardashian family kicked off Kardashian Kloset in 2019, and by 2022, the site raked in almost $1 million in profits. That number might have even doubled since then. Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian are the top sellers on the platform, with over 200 items listed. But this isn’t the first time Kardashian Kloset has faced criticism. Back in 2021, a designer accused the Kardashian-Jenners of selling their products without permission after they were given as gifts.
Khloe Kardashian has a net worth of around $60 million, so she’s not exactly relying on this extra cash. Still, if what sources say is accurate, it seems like she’s not planning to stop the re-selling anytime soon.

While Khloé Kardashian’s decision to resell her son’s clothes has sparked some controversy, it’s clear that the Kardashian Kloset platform has become a successful venture for the family. The resale site offers fans a chance to own designer pieces previously worn by the stars, and it’s proven to be financially lucrative.
Khloé, with her savvy approach to business and a strong work ethic instilled by her mother, continues to capitalize on opportunities to stay financially secure. Regardless of the criticism, her confidence in reselling her kids’ clothes shows a pragmatic, no-nonsense approach to wealth management.
