See Inside John Stamos' Former $13M California Mansion as it Hits the Market.

Actor John Stamos’s former Calabasas estate—built at the height of his Full House fame—is back on the market for just under $13 million. Nestled on six scenic acres in the hills outside Los Angeles, the Mediterranean-style property was purchased by Stamos in 1991 for $430,000 and completed in 1992. He lived there for about a decade before selling it in 2001 for $2.15 million.

The current owners, Justin and Candace Aguilera, acquired the home in 2020 for $2.95 million. Though the property retained its original '90s flair, Justin said they immediately saw its potential. “We thought, ‘This could be amazing,’ but the whole house hadn’t been touched since the early ’90s,” he explained.

Over the next two years, the Aguileras transformed the estate into a showstopper. Inside, white Panda marble with bold black veining now defines the flooring, while a two-sided fireplace and a jaw-dropping 15-foot crystal chandelier add high drama to the formal living spaces.

The 8,100-square-foot home boasts six bedrooms and six bathrooms, including a sprawling 2,500-square-foot primary suite. With vaulted ceilings, a fireplace lounge, wet bar, black marble-clad bath, and a salon-style glam room, the suite is Aguilera’s personal favorite.

Perfect for hosting, the estate includes an opulent indoor bar with black coffered ceilings, along with an outdoor bar and lounge areas. The resort-style pool features a grotto, hot tub, and new travertine patio, while 350 landscape lights create a magical ambiance by night.

Beyond the beauty, the owners took precautions to protect the property from wildfire risks. “On the hill, on the hardscape, we added a sprinkler system, so we don’t have to worry about a fire,” Aguilera shared.

The elevated location offers jaw-dropping views of Malibu Canyon and a morning blanket of coastal fog that Aguilera describes as “a waterfall.” Floor-to-ceiling gridless windows ensure those vistas are never interrupted.

With plenty of space to expand—including room for a potential helipad—the estate is listed by Alessandro Corona of Compass.

John Stamos’s one-time retreat is more than a celebrity home—it’s a glamorous escape that blends luxury, privacy, and unforgettable views. His vision laid the groundwork for a dream estate, and the Aguileras elevated it to a modern masterpiece.
