This year the EUROS is expected to raise EUR9.35 million for the Hat Trick Programme over the next 4 years. This will be revenue to improve facilities and training programmes to ensure the game improves to reach new levels.

There have been reports that each of the 24 teams which reach the games in Germany this year will receive £7.92million with the ultimate prize being £26 million this year.

Not only does the EURO games bring in money for the football clubs themselves, the increased spending gives the economy a boost as well. The public spending in summer is increased with this event as more people go out to each and go to pubs meaning hospitality is in for a treat this summer.
