Survivor’ Recap: Who Was Voted Out Among the Final 8 in Season 47, Episode 11?
With only eight players remaining, tensions rose in episode 11 of Survivor season 47.
Following Gabe's shocking elimination by his former Tuku tribe allies, Caroline and Kyle, at the previous tribal council, the last remaining Tuku member, Sue, found herself isolated as the episode aired on Wednesday, November 27.
The Formation of ‘The Underdog’ Alliance on ‘Survivor’ 47 Sue was equally blindsided by the vote, feeling devastated, especially since Caroline had turned against their alliance. Despite this, Kyle remained her primary target, and she was even more determined to see him voted out after his betrayal of Gabe.
Caroline reassured Sue of her commitment to their relationship, claiming she still valued their alliance. However, she explained that she needed to eliminate Gabe, whom she felt was dominating her gameplay. Sue accepted Caroline's gesture and continued to view her as her top ally.
Meanwhile, Andy, Rachel, and Teeny worked to strengthen their alliance while also reaching out to Sue. The group decided to join forces with Sue and Caroline to create an “underdog alliance,” leaving Sam, Genevieve, and Kyle vulnerable. However, the trio was aware that the other five might be plotting against them.
Who Embarked on the Journey in ‘Survivor’ Season 47, Episode 11?
A boat arrived at the camp, and the players had to choose one person to go on a journey. Genevieve and Sam recognized their precarious position in the game and opted to draw rocks for the decision. Rachel also entered the rock draw, wanting to prevent Sam or Genevieve from gaining an advantage. Ultimately, Rachel was selected to embark on the journey, which took her to a platform in the middle of the ocean.
To gain the advantage, Rachel needed to solve a puzzle linked to a set of weights hanging from ropes. These weights were submerged in water, so she had to complete the puzzle before the ropes ran out. Failing to do so would mean losing her vote at the upcoming tribal council. Rachel decided to take the risk and managed to finish the puzzle just in time.
This advantage allowed Rachel to secretly block another player's vote at tribal council, and it could be used until the final six. Once back at camp, she opted to be “99 percent honest” about her experience, wanting to keep her advantage hidden from Sam, Genevieve, and Kyle. In front of everyone, she claimed she had lost her vote, but later confided in Caroline, Sue, Teeny, and Andy about the truth. Sue felt a stronger connection to Rachel than ever, while Caroline was thrilled that Rachel's threat level was rising, as it could serve as a shield for her.
After these discussions, Rachel found herself in two solid alliances: one with Andy and Teeny, and another with Sue and Caroline. However, Genevieve wasn’t going to back down easily and proposed voting out “one of the people making their way to the end,” like Sue or Andy. While Rachel maintained her composure in front of Genevieve, she now viewed her as a significant threat and informed Andy about Genevieve mentioning his name.
Who Won the Immunity Challenge on ‘Survivor’ Season 47, Episode 11?
During the immunity challenge, players had to stack letter tiles on a table balanced by a rope. The first to spell “immunity” would win. Sam, Genevieve, and Rachel were all just one block away from victory when their towers collapsed, leaving Kyle and Teeny in the lead. After Kyle fell, Teeny was the next to be close with one block remaining, but she too lost her stack.
Genevieve and Rachel found themselves back at their final blocks, but Genevieve faltered, allowing Rachel to claim victory in the challenge.
Who Was Eliminated in ‘Survivor’ Season 47, Episode 11?
With Kyle being the most significant immunity threat, he was the clear target at this tribal council.
However, Rachel saw an opportunity to shift the focus onto Genevieve or Sam instead. Both Sam and Genevieve realized they lacked influence in the game and accepted that they might have to align with the majority, even though they were reluctant to go after Kyle. Aware of the target on his back, Kyle attempted to leverage his social skills to redirect the votes. Meanwhile, Andy aimed to make a statement in the game and sought to rally support for voting Genevieve out.
Teeny remained convinced that Kyle was the right choice, while Caroline recognized that Genevieve would be a strategic vote but hesitated to betray Sue, given their growing bond. No advantages or idols were played during the vote. When the results were announced, Genevieve and Teeny each received one vote, but the majority went to Kyle, leading to his elimination. Episode 11 of Survivor Season 47 was a turning point, with alliances shifting, secrets being kept, and bold moves setting the stage for the endgame.
Kyle's elimination marked the fall of a significant threat, but with only seven players remaining, tensions will only escalate as the "underdog alliance" faces internal challenges and the remaining players scramble for control.
With Rachel holding a secret advantage, Sue rebuilding trust, and Genevieve and Sam fighting to stay afloat, every decision in the upcoming episodes could determine who claims the million-dollar prize. As the season nears its conclusion, fans can expect even more blindsides, power plays, and unforgettable moments. The fight for survival continues, and in this game, no one is truly safe.
