According to reports, the artist provided this substantial tip to a bartender in Texas on the evening before Christmas. Renee Brown, the recipient of this generous gesture, recounted her experience to Music Mayhem shortly after the New Year. She highlighted the transformative impact of Post Malone's gift on her life.
Brown explained that she had to rebuild her life in August 2024 after experiencing significant losses. The Virginia native was homeschooling her nine-year-old daughter while juggling two jobs, all without a vehicle. On Christmas Eve, she felt disheartened to be working instead of celebrating with her daughter. However, her circumstances took a turn for the better when Post Malone visited her bar, The Railway, accompanied by a group of friends, including fellow musician Shaboozey.

The waitress says she didn’t even realize who Post Malone was at first. “I told all my regulars not to be weird and bug him as it’s a neighbourhood dive bar, and I’m sure he picked a place like that to feel a sense of normalcy,” she recalled.
She referred to him as “hands down the most humble, personable celebrity,” emphasizing “how kind he was to all the people that spend their days with me on the regular.”
Post Malone and his entourage reportedly remained at the bar until its closing time at 12:30 AM. The singer allegedly requested that the bartender "ring him up for a penny or anything" when he inquired about his bill, only to discover that a member of his group had already settled it. It was not until later that Brown realized Malone had generously left a $20,000 tip on the modest bill she processed according to his request.
“He changed my life on Christmas f—king Eve, and will forever be grateful. Thank you so much, Austin,” she added.
Post Malone is estimated to have a net worth of $50 million, a figure attributed to his successful music career, which features popular tracks such as “Sunflower” and “Rockstar.”
