Pete commenced his tattoo removal journey in 2020, aiming to eliminate more than 200 tattoos. In 2021, he indicated that part of his motivation stemmed from his acting career. "I didn't think that they would put me in stuff (in) the movie business or anything. I thought after this, 'SNL,' I thought it was a wrap," he said.

Pete commenced his career in the entertainment industry at the age of 20 with his debut on Saturday Night Live. Currently, his estimated net worth stands at $4 million, primarily attributed to his diverse acting roles. His filmography includes notable titles such as Meet Cute (2022), Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022), The Suicide Squad (2021), and The King of Staten Island (2019).

Additionally, he created, wrote, and starred in the Peacock series Bupkis, which premiered in 2023 and was subsequently renewed for a second season; however, Pete decided to put the project on hold the following year.

As for his motivation, Pete added,"I got sober and I saw myself in the mirror and I was like, ‘Nah. Who that?' I was like, 'I got to change it up a little bit.'"

Despite acquiring numerous tattoos throughout the years, Pete's ink dedicated to Kim Kardashian stands out as the most notorious. During their brief relationship in 2021, he adorned himself with several tattoos in her honor, including the phrase "My Girl is a Lawyer," a "K" emblem on his chest, and initials symbolizing Kim and her four children. These tattoos seem to have been among the earliest he acquired, as they have since been removed.
