Kevin Spacey's Baltimore Mansion Listed Again for $6 Million.
A prime piece of Inner Harbor waterfront real estate linked to Kevin Spacey has just hit the market for just under $6 million. This 9,000-square-foot home was relisted after its latest owner, real estate investor Sam Asgari, decided to flip it for a profit.
This listing comes a few months after a legal spat where Spacey reportedly asked for $100,000 to leave the foreclosed property. The five-story building boasts six bedrooms and seven full bathrooms, with panoramic windows on three sides that offer stunning views of the Baltimore waterfront. A spiral staircase connects all the floors, adding to the home’s modern architectural vibe.

Built in 2006, the house features upscale amenities like an elevator with illuminated glass panels, a nine-seat home theater, a personal sauna, and a rooftop deck that provides a direct view of the harbor. Spacey bought the mansion in early 2017 for $5.65 million, maintaining a presence in Baltimore due to his lead role in the Netflix series House of Cards, which was filmed in the city until he was let go in 2018.
Shortly after acquiring the property, Spacey faced serious allegations of sexual misconduct, leading to legal issues and financial struggles. In 2022, he was ordered to pay $31 million to the producers of House of Cards for breaching their sexual harassment policy.

The financial strain from the lawsuit, along with a shortage of roles in Hollywood, really put Spacey in a tough spot financially. In a June 2024 chat with Piers Morgan, the fallen star confessed he was nearly bankrupt and struggling to keep up with his legal bills. By July 2024, he lost his Baltimore home to foreclosure.

His legal team tried to halt the sale, claiming there were issues with how the foreclosure was handled. The property ended up being sold at auction for $3.24 million to Asgari, but Spacey reportedly refused to leave unless he got a hefty payout. Asgari later mentioned that the actor's request felt like extortion. The matter was resolved in November 2024, and Spacey finally moved out.
Now that Spacey has vacated, the mansion is back on the market for almost double what it sold for at auction. Its high asking price highlights its exclusivity, especially since the average home sales in the Inner Harbor were around $325,000 in January 2025. Spacey’s financial woes have been significant.
