Pamela Bach, Ex-Wife of David Hasselhoff, Faced Financial Struggles Before Her Death.
Pamela Bach, who many remember as David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife, went through some tough financial times before her tragic passing. The actress, who was married to the Baywatch icon for 16 years, struggled with money issues and growing debt before her death at 60, which has been ruled a suicide.
Court documents obtained by In Touch reveal that in December 2024, a lawyer named Stacy L. Sokol filed a lawsuit against Pamela for unpaid fees. She reportedly owed over $3,600 for legal services.
Sokol stated that she worked for Bach from February to May 2022, and the charges included “attorney fees, costs, expenses and advances owing in connection with restoring an LLC to good standing and transferring the property out of the LLC.”
The lawsuit got tossed out on February 14, just before Pamela passed away. It was dismissed with prejudice, meaning the attorney can't reopen the case later. Bach hadn’t officially replied to the claims in court before it was dropped.

But that wasn’t the only legal trouble for Bach. Back in 2018, she dealt with a similar situation when a guy claimed he was hired to do work on her house for $300 a day. He alleged that after she fired him, she refused to pay what she owed and was verbally aggressive. In the end, the court ruled that Pamela didn’t have to pay the contractor anything.
More recently, in September 2023, she found herself in a small claims case filed by her neighbors, Brian Berri and Claire Weglarz. They were seeking financial compensation after claiming Bach’s dog attacked their leashed dog during an incident in June 2023.
“The vet bills totaled $3,067. We reached out to Ms. Hasselhoff multiple times via text, letter and Facebook, but she ignored all our attempts to resolve outside of court,” the couple’s court filing argued.
The case wrapped up in November 2023, with Bach being ordered to cough up more than $3,000. But the saga didn’t stop there. The next year, she filed a response claiming that Bryan’s dog had bitten her and that he had hit her dog. She also accused her neighbor of harassment and causing her emotional distress. Eventually, the case got sorted out later that year.
As of March 2025, David Hasselhoff's net worth is around $10 million. In comparison, Pamela's net worth was estimated at $1.5 million when she passed away. They tied the knot in 1989 and split in 2006. After their divorce, David was initially on the hook for $21,000 a month in spousal support to Pamela, which later got cut down to $10,000 and then to $5,000. All in all, he ended up paying over $2.5 million after they separated.
