Pamela Bach, David Hasselhoff's Ex, Died Without a Will.
David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife, Pamela Bach Hasselhoff, tragically passed away without a will, leaving her estate in limbo. The former couple's eldest daughter, Taylor Hasselhoff-Fiore, has filed court documents to be named the executor of her mother’s estate, which she estimates at approximately $840,000. However, this figure may not be definitive, as there may be private trusts outside of the probate case, according to TMZ.
Pamela, who shared two daughters—Taylor, 34, and Hayley, 32—with David Hasselhoff, was found dead in her Los Angeles home last week. The medical examiner later determined that her death was a suicide. The two daughters have since shared emotional tributes to their late mother. Taylor, in a heartfelt post on social media, expressed her sorrow and love, writing, “I’d do anything in the world to hug you again, my forever angel.” She added, “You are my best friend, my whole heart, my everything. I promise to make you proud & celebrate you every day.” Taylor also vowed to honor her mother's legacy, saying, “I will be strong for you & hold onto your memory until we meet again, my beautiful.”
Hayley, who was reportedly the one to discover her mother's body, also expressed her grief, promising to protect her sister forever. "Mama, I love you so much … the pain is unbearable," she said in her tribute.
Pamela had reportedly been struggling with health issues in the years leading up to her death. Her former nanny-turned-"Dateline" correspondent Andrea Canning shared that Pamela had been suffering from injuries sustained in a 2003 motorcycle crash, which left her with a broken neck and back. Pamela’s injuries took a toll on her, and she was said to have been using a cane to get around. Additionally, Canning revealed that Pamela had been facing financial difficulties. “There were times where she’s like, ‘I’m going to be homeless. I’ve got to get out of this house,’ which never happened,” Canning said.

Despite her challenges, Pamela was reportedly trying to start a reality TV show called “Over the Hills,” which would have followed her and other celebrities navigating aging in Hollywood. Pamela spent over a year pitching the series, but it was never picked up.
Pamela’s life was marked by personal and financial struggles, but she still had a positive outlook on life, according to Canning. “It’s funny—the longer I got to know her, the nicer she became,” Canning said. “Every year that went by, she just got kinder and kinder.”
While Pamela’s death is a tragedy for her family, it also highlights the complexity and uncertainty that comes with leaving behind an estate without a will. The absence of a will can often create additional stress for loved ones already dealing with grief. Pamela’s daughters, now tasked with managing her estate, will likely face many challenges as they navigate the legal process. The loss of a mother is difficult enough, but the added complications of estate management make it even more heartbreaking.
In the end, Pamela’s passing is a reminder of how fragile life is and the importance of planning for the future, even in the face of hardship.
