Just over two years after her death at 82, Raquel Welch's long-time Los Angeles home has officially sold for $3.1 million. The iconic actress, known for her memorable roles in the 1960s as a tiny scientist in "Fantastic Voyage" and a bikini-wearing cavewoman in "One Million Years B.C.," had the property on the market for a year, initially listed at around $4 million before being reduced to $3.7 million.

The villa, located in the upscale Beverly Glen Circle area of Bel Air, was purchased by British film producer, writer, and director Justin Hyne for $600,000 more than the $2.5 million Welch paid for it in 2009. The listing was handled by Ernie Carswell and Lloyd Ross from Douglas Elliman, along with Brett Lawyer from Carolwood Estates, while Ariel Belkin from The One Luxury Properties represented the buyer.

Way before Bo Derek made waves on the beach with her Fulani braids and Farrah Fawcett rocked that legendary red swimsuit, Raquel Welch was turning heads in her famous doeskin bikini from One Billion Years B.C. Although Playboy ranked her as one of the "100 sexiest female stars of the 20th century," placing her third after Marilyn Monroe and Jayne Mansfield, the Golden Globe-winning actress (known for The Three Musketeers) chose not to bare it all for films or magazine spreads.

“I am my father’s daughter and that’s just not the way you behave,” she told Piers Morgan on his Life Stories show in 2015. “You don’t do that if you are a certain kind of a woman and that’s the kind of woman I was raised to be.”
