Bezos purchased the sprawling 9,420-square-foot mansion on Hunts Point in April 2019 for $37.5 million. Previously owned by late art collector Barney A. Ebsworth, the mansion boasts a variety of high-end features.

After announcing in November 2023 that he was moving to Miami, Bezos explained the decision to leave the Pacific Northwest, where he lived since 1994 when he founded Amazon. "Seattle has been my home since 1994 when I started Amazon out of my garage," Bezos said in an Instagram post.

While he departs Seattle, Bezos retains two additional properties in the city: a $10 million home acquired in 1998 and a $45 million adjacent residence he bought in 2010, though he's reportedly looking to sell these as well.
